2010 Points Series Schedule
Thanks to everyone that fished with us last year and I hope to see all of you back this year along with alot of new faces. I would like to extend a special invitation to all who are looking for a "Points Series" due to events of last year. Even if you only fished "OPEN TOURNAMENTS" last year, you might like the enhanced competition, the opportunity to fish different lakes and truly test yourself that we offer. I look forward to having a great year in 2010 and many more to come. Come on out & bring all your friends.
Most of our 2009 sponsors are still on board, some new ones have signed on and I am working very hard to get more sponsor cash & prizes to make our trail bigger & better. With your help we can have a friendly, honest tournament series that fishes close to home to help cut cost & travel time.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The following are changes to our format this year that will make it easier to compete for the "Points Championship". There will be 7 regular events & a Championship Tournament at the end of the year on September 11.

Only your 5 best of the first 7 regular events will count towards your points total for the year plus points earned in the "Championship Tournament".

This means you can miss any two OR have a couple of bad tournaments and still be eligible to compete for the 2010 Championship in the "Championship Tournament" on Kerr Lake on Sep 11, 2010.

ONLY the teams that have fished in at least 5 regular events as required will be eligible to fish the "Champoinship Tournament" and have a shot at the Championship, the prizes that go along with it and FREE ENTRY in the 2011 Series Tournaments.

You must fish as a 2 person team - You CANNOT fish alone.

Welcome to the CAROLINA BASS SERIES homepage. We were founded in 2008 and are dedicated to the promotion & advancement of sport fishing in North Carolina on both the competitive & non-competitive levels. We are advocates of "Catch & Release" and are dedicated to protecting the fishing resource & environment for the future.
We host two levels of Bass Tournaments consisting of a "POINTS SERIES" with 8 events this year and "OPEN TEAM TOURNAMENTS" with several events this year as well as a charity fundraiser for The Apex Rotary Club. Our schedule offers anglers the opportunity to compete locally in Central North Carolina on some of the best lakes anywhere.
We Don't Fish Just One Lake
We know that it is expensive to fish tournaments and we are here to offer hi-level tournament competition without the extensive travel & expense that some other trails require. With the caliber of the lakes in this area, I can see no reason why you would need to venture too far from home to have high-level competition & win big money.
Our goal is to get bigger and have more to offer our anglers in cash & prizes every year.
